TIDBITS

Well hello again,

It looks kike we are in for another hot hot day here in the Midwest. I read where we are having the hottest summer on record. I believe they might be right.

I was having a cup or coffee this morning at one of our many Starbucks. I was sitting outside, mostly in the shade and a good breeze was coming around the corner. I had just dropped Killes off at the groomer. It seems as soon as I am not doing anything special, I begin thinking and it usually leads to talking to the Lord. A younger man came out with his purchase, looking very normal to me and I watched him go to his car. He crawled into a Mercedes SUV, telling me he was rich. Just then the Spirit told me that I was as rich as he was. The Lord has told me that I will never "need" anything when it comes to finances as long as I am faithful to Him.

I was reading this morning that the jurors in the Blagojevich trial appear stymied, seeking guidance from the Judge. I seems to me this guy can get by with anything..

Speaking of judges, I assume you have heard that a judge in California has struck down a law recently voted on by the people, to allow same-sex marriages.
This should tell you what Man is doing! Heaven help us!

Did you see the brawl at the Reds and Cardinals second game of this series?
It seems that Brandon Phillips had made some remarks about the Cardinal team. Probably a few choice words, but the Cardinals heard about it from somewhere.
Second game, of course Phillips was first up to bat for the reds, and catcher, Molina was spouting off to Phillips as he came to the plate. We as sure as anything Phillips began yelling back and it started. Both teams got involved and  I was surprised to see Scott Rolen get so involved, He seems like a very level headed guy to me. Well needless to the Mgrs. got involved and watched the rest of the game from the locker room.

One last thing today, I heard that older people with "belly pouches" are more apt
to die sooner. Well one more thing why I need to be ready.

What is Man - TIDBITS

Well hello again,

What about man? What has man been doing
to improve our world, or make it worse?

Our First Lady is traveling in Spain, Must be nice
huh? Well how many of you took a vacation this
summer or are going to? How many of you would like
to live in the White House and be responsible for
running a country? Would you like to get away or
do something to help forget about your responsibilities
for awhile?

What has happened to Tiger? Poor guy finished 76th
in his last tournment. All his problems have certainly
taken a toll on him.

Here in Lexington, they are working around the clock
it seems to get ready for the 2010 World Equestrain
Games. I understand they are not selling as many tickets as they were hopeing. Maybe things will pick up soon.

Note to Ohio - my home state. You republicans can
surely replace John Boehner can't you? He is really
tan again, and has done nothing to help anything.
(Same goes for Kentucky and our senator McConnell,
"worthless)

Sorry I am going to try not complain too much.

Let's get together and try to make our world better!
